M57 Workspace brings M57 technical information, ECU file tools and conversion development together in one organised application. Find a circuit, check a connector, prepare a supported calibration patch or record your latest test—all from a password-protected workspace designed for practical workshop use.

ECU Patch Builder

Load your supported ECU file, select the available patches and build a complete patch pack with one click. Each pack includes:

• An unchanged backup of your original file.
• A separate patched BIN file.
• A detailed record of the changes made.
• Input and output SHA-256 hashes for file identification.

The builder checks supported software identifiers and expected patch bytes, and rejects unavailable patches or incompatible inputs. These checks do not replace full calibration or ECU-checksum verification.

One-Click Standalone ECU & Patch Tools

M57 Workspace is designed to bring standalone ECU preparation and conversion patches together in one guided workflow. Select a supported ECU and conversion profile, choose the required functions and build a combined file with an original backup and detailed change report.

The launch feature set covers:

• Switchable high-idle.
• Full standalone ECU preparation, including start authorisation.
• Fuel-pump control for E60 onwards.
• CAN dependency configuration.
• Low-range throttle functionality for off-road vehicles.
• Speed-density activation.
• Sensor scaling for supported hardware changes.
• Vacuum-to-electronic turbocharger control conversion.
• DTC-off options for supported applications.
• Additional M57 patches and conversion tools delivered through software updates.

ECU and software compatibility will be specified for each released function.

Workspace Features

• Clutch high-idle tool: prepare supported clutch-switched high-idle calibration files.
• Electrical reference library: browse colour wiring diagrams, available connector face views, ECU pinouts, wire colours and conductor sizes.
• ECU file comparison: identify changed bytes and generate comparison reports.
• CAN log review: inspect supported capture files offline and follow ongoing CAN development.
• Project notebook: keep vehicle details, modifications, test results and next steps together, with exportable backups.
• Offline operation: use the installed workspace without a continuous internet connection.
• Individual activation: password-protected access with a licence registered to one computer.

New Developments Through Software Updates

As Pace Automotive releases new developments, supported patches, fixes and technical improvements, they will be made available through M57 Workspace updates. Download the supplied update package and install it using the built-in update installer, then continue working offline.

Compatibility, release notes and development status will be provided with updates. Automatic online update delivery is not currently included.

M57 Workspace prepares files; it does not flash an ECU or calculate Bosch ECU checksums. Compatible external equipment and checksum correction/verification are required before writing.
