  Hi all Land Rover family, I would just like to thank a few people that have helped me out to get the beast going again. The immobiliser had crapped itself and through a few friends on here I have got it going again. Thanks Damian LučevFor all your advice also the main brains trust in Peter Bell at Bell Auto services and the main Man Dan Padmore at Pace Automotive. I would like to especially thank Dan Padmore at Pace Automotive in the Uk, after 60 odd emails I have the Truck up and running.  

 Top choice for security! Just returned from seeing the affable Dan Padmore who very kindly made some simple yet very effective alterations to my Puma 2.4's security. Dan is a fully trained Land Rover mechanic and his knowledge of Defender electrics is second to none. With a few very straightforward modifications involving some wiring and fuses, he has transformed the vehicle from what was previously a sitting duck, waiting to be ravaged for parts by villains and scumbags, into a secure and virtually impregnable object of desire. His extended wiring loom is neat and tidy, ready to fit by moving the location of the backup battery alarm unit (BBUS - where present). He talked me through the mods in language I easily understood, and made me aware of everything he had done. The effectiveness of them now means that my alarm system cannot be bypassed with parlour tricks and slight-of-hand. In fact, without putting the Defender on a ramp in a well-lit shop with two or three die-hard Landy grease monkeys pouring over it for a good hour, I doubt the alarm system could be bypassed at all. Top job by a great chap who clearly loves his craft. Many thanks! 

i can't recommend pace enough been dealing with Dan and hes been soo helpful knows his stuff and helped me out soo much with my engine conversion went above and beyond to help me out even being in a whole other country he still spent the time with me to help me get my car going after finding out that i had other problems with it. he gave clear and easy to follow insturctions.
and now for the wiring loom what a ripper loom it is came in good time wires were labeled and took not to long at all to install in my car very easy to deal with loom and very simple but super neatly made very high attention to detal went into making my loom. if im crasy to take on another engine swap i defiently know who im going to speak to for the loom.

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to Dan and the guys at Pace for the work they did on my one of my defenders. They installed factory electric windows, central locking, 10as upgrade, front and rear heated windscreen wiring and some other security upgrades, all in double quick time and a great price. The quality of the work is outstanding and looks OEM. In today's world of rip off merchants and bad customer service it was such a breath of fresh air to deal with such a great company. Thanks Dan Padmore for everything

 I have just purchased a BBUS extension harness from Dan.
I cannot rate him highly enough for his excellent communication and support. I am totally out of my comfort zone when dealing with vehicle electrics but Dan didn't make me feel stupid, he was first class !! 

 Thank you Dan for all your help and advice with the wiring loom for my 90! Great bit of kit, and it's nice to have they added layer of security for peace of mind.

 Great products and even better aftersales / service support from pace automotive. These guys really know their stuff when it comes to Defender wiring and additional security enhancements. If you are considering any upgrades in this area I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call ! 

   Brilliant company to deal with, made a great job on my VNT and Intercooler from BAS remaps, and even sorted many other electrical repairs on the td5. It absolutely flies 

 Icy start today, so tested my VGS heated screen with Pace (Dan Padmore) wiring kit, for first time since fitting and it worked a treat. As did my Pace heated mirrors. No more ice scraping the difficult to reach windscreen. Highly recommended.
VGS heated screen and wiring kits can be supplied and fitted if required. 

 Brilliant service from start to finish! I needed some header sockets for my Discovey 2 which I was struggling to sauce from anywhere! Dan at Pace Automotive got me them for the next day! Once again thank you!
